Deputies say a drunk driver caused a crash that sent him to the hospital and killed four others in Wayne County Thursday night.
The accident happened at about 7:30pm on Big Sandy River Road, just north of the Route 52 intersection near Kenova.
The Wayne County Sheriff's Department says Bobby Frazier of Louisa, Kentucky, was driving his Ford F-150 drunk when he crossed the center line and hit another pickup truck head-on, killing all four people who were in that vehicle.
John Michael Boone, 28, his children 2-year-old Michael Tyler and 3-year-old Jordan Michelle, and a family friend, Thomas Reno Hardwick, 29, were killed, deputies say.
Frazier was taken to the hospital. Deputies tell us he will be arrested and charged with 3rd offense DUI and four counts of DUI causing death as soon as he's released from the hospital.
Deputies say the children were properly restrained in the family's Chevy Colorado.
