An accident on I-79 in Harrison County on Super Bowl Sunday has now claimed a third victim.
Investigators say 26-year-old Robert Shaw of Philippi, who had been hospitalized in Morgantown since the night of the crash, died from the injuries he suffered.
Shaw’s vehicle was hit head-on by a Dodge Durango being driven the wrong way on the interstate. Also killed in the accident were 56-year old Richard French of Scott Depot, and his son, 22-year-old Adam French.
