Nicholas County Sheriff's deputies say 44-year old Daniel Jackson from Fayetteville ran off the road in the Mount Lookout area when he was driving north and overcorrected, losing control of his vehicle.

Jackson was thrown from his vehicle as it rolled and ended up in the southbound lanes of Route 19 where another vehicle hit him.

The driver of the other vehicle was being treated at Summersville Memorial Hospital.
