State Troopers say Pinkney Shirley, 50, of Leon was riding his motorcycle in the northbound lane when a car being driven by 43-year-old Paula King of Proctorville, Ohio made a left hand turn in front of him.

Investigators say Shirley was thrown from his bike and died on the way to the hospital. King was not injured. She told troopers she didn't see him coming

King will be ticketed. The case is being turned over to the Mason County Prosecutor's Office.
