A Jackson County warehouse filled with equipment and machinery was leveled by fire Wednesday morning.
Flames ripped through the Great American Lines facility around 4:30 a.m. Firefighters say by the time they got there; the building was fully engulfed in flames.
It took volunteer fire departments from Cottageville, Ripley and Ravenswood about an hour to put out the blaze. No one was injured.
The building is owned by Great American Lines but was being rented out to J.M. Industrial, which deals in used and unused machinery.
The state Fire Marshal's Office has been called in to help determine what sparked the fire.
