State Police have a suspect in the beating death of an inmate at North Central Regional Jail in Doddridge County.
State Trooper say 21-year-old inmate Joshua Whitehair is under investigation in the death of 43-year-old Darryl Burton. Whitehair has not been charged.
Burton died earlier this week after investigators say he was attacked. He was in jail on a sexual abuse conviction.
Whitehair's last known address was Morgantown.
