A Roane County man is in the Central Regional Jail accused of shooting his brother twice in the head with a pistol late last week.
The brother, Rex Fields of Gandeeville, is in stable condition as of Wednesday at CAMC.
Leslie Fields from Spencer is charged with malicious wounding. State Police say the two had been fighting Friday when Leslie left and returned with the gun.
Troopers say Leslie tried to escape on an ATV, but they were able to catch him after he crashed the vehicle.
