State Police are still looking into the Wednesday shooting in Mason County that left a four year old boy in critical condition Thursday at Charleston Area Medical Center.

Troopers say the boy's 14-year old brother went to get a .25 caliber handgun out of his mother's closet when she left the family home in Leon.

The teenager took the gun into his room and, while he was messing with it, it accidentally went off.

The bullet went through a wall and an entertainment center before hitting the boy's four year old brother in the chest.  The young boy was playing video games at the time.
