Police in Mason County have identified the body found in Apple Grove Tuesday.

The sheriff's dept. says Tonya Slaughter, 35, of Huntington was murdered. Her body was wrapped in a sheet near Barton Chapel Road in Apple Grove.

Investigators say they know of no prior connection Slaughter had to Mason County.
