An Indiana truck driver is now facing charges for the death of a Putnam County teenager.
Charges were upgraded for 57-year-old Breazeale W. Norris of Indianapolis after one of the passengers in the car he allegedly hit died Tuesday morning. Norris is now charged with a count of DUI causing death, three counts of leaving the scene of an accident causing injury, one count of DUI in a commercial vehicle, and a count of leaving the scene of an accident causing death.
Putnam County Sheriff's Deputies say Norris hit the car Saturday night along I-64 in Hurricane and then continued driving. James Roberts, 18, of Eleanor died from injuries caused by that accident. Three others were also injured.
